- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The only good thing about this place is the facade. We don't know what the food is like because we only got as far as sitting down for a moment. The staff are so inattentive I only knew they we staff because the had aprons on. When we walked in, we practically had to star jump at the bar to get some attention and we were the only people standing there. We finally thought we were seen by a girl walking our way to only then witness her walk around us and go and clear another table. After a good 5 minutes and both staff making eye contact with us a couple of times we finally got approached and told how to order from a super unenthused staff member. We sat down for a second, felt totally uninvited, rang and made a booking at Bill's Frishhouse and Bar and took off down the road. As a couple of travellers stopping over night in Port Macquarie, it definitely wasn't a great welcome to the place. Lucky Bill's experience changed our opinion.By beewakefield, June 16, 2017
